SKIN TESTING AND SCREENING FOR SENSITIVITY AND REACTIONS We use testing and screening to check suitability for the colouring products we provide. Colourstart offer the convenience to Allergy test at home. Please register on the Colourstart website byclicking hereand create your passport. Answer the screening questions, buy and apply your Colourstart Patch following instructions . Upload your results to your online passport. Share your results with your stylist – (I am registered with Colourstart). Once you have created your passport and completed your first test, subsequent colour treatments require you to answer the screening questions – testing with a Colourstart test may not be necessary unless something changes. Your Colourstart Passport will confidentially store your records.
B) AAT (Allergy Alert Test) - Free The most popular choice is the face to face Allergy test. For your first AAT with Anna Marie's or if it is 12 months since your last AAT; Make an appointment at least 48 hours before your appointment. We will apply a small amount of colour formula to the inside of your elbow. Leave for 45 minutes, should you experience any signs of irritation, reddening, swelling, inflammation or itching please contact us. If you develop symptoms that make you unwell please contact a medical professional. When you attend your appointment we will observe the test site and ask you to complete a questionnaire. Subsequent colour services may not require an AAT test subject to screening questions. We advise you to speak to your stylist about what is best for you. All our stylists have been trained to test and screen for suitability for permanent colour services. We have vast experience in safe colouring – you can be sure we only use the best products and invest in the most up to date practices. We take your safety and our work seriously. We thank you for your co-operation in our preliminary procedures before your service with us. Reactions to hair colourants can occur for a very small number of people, in the same way that some individuals can react to a variety of foods and natural substances. Allergic reactions to hair colourants are extremely rare. Of those individuals who have the potential to react to a hair colourant, potential reactions can be detected by carrying out the Allergy Alert Patch Test, as directed, 48 hours before the service can be carried out. For insurance purposes, all new clients looking to book a colour service, will require an Allergy Alert Patch Test to confirm there are no active allergies to the colour I’ll be using. To cover travel & costs, I will require a non-refundable £10 deposit/booking fee for Colour Consultations & Allergy Alert/Strand/Compatibility Tests. This WILL be FULLY DEDUCTED if you proceed and book a colour service.
Booking Fees and Cancellations Appointments may only be made with a Booking Fee – This means that until the Booking Fee is received, that time slot (appointment) is not secured or reserved and can be taken by someone else. Booking Fees can be paid by Bank transfer or cash payment. The Booking Fee amount varies by treatment and is proportionate to the total cost and duration of appointment. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a large group or Wedding booking - Please see Bridal T&C's below . If you wish to cancel your Extensions Fitting, please see Extensions T&C's below.
For all other booking types:
Cancellations/Reschedules made with less than 24 hours notice may result in loss of Booking Fee.
If an appointment is missed without notifying me, or is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice it will be classed as a ‘No Show’.
Failure to attend for a patch test will result in cancellation of your appointment and be classed as a 'No Show', deposit will be retained.
After one 'No Show' the client may be required to pay 100% of the cost upfront for future bookings. The same Booking fee terms will apply.
Clients with a high cancellation /reschedule rate may be required to pay 50% of the treatment cost for future Booking Fees.
Cancellations made with adequate notice will in most cases receive a refund for the full Booking Fee amount.
A positive reaction to a patch test will not be classed as a 'No-show' or a late cancellation. Booking Fees paid can be transferred to another treatment or refunded. The result will be recorded on your client record.
If you are more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the appointment may be cancelled and recorded as a 'No-Show'.
By paying any Booking Fees to secure a booking at Anna Marie's, you are agreeing to the the terms of the policy as set out above.
Expectations It is important to fully understand the expectations prior to having a service with Anna Marie’s, so we have also created this useful guide…. Cuts Where precision cutting techniques have been used there can be some movement if the hair is not styled / parted in the same place. If this happens, and you find a view strands seem uneven, please let us know within 48 hours of your appointment so we can correct any rogue strays, free of charge. There is a time limitation of 7days for cut correction. Unfortunately, our hair doesn’t grow evenly all over our head, and therefore as your hair grows out you may find the shape / precision of the cut may change. To maintain cut definition your stylist will recommend the frequency of hair maintenance which is normally around 6 weeks depending on the style. Colours Although great care and attention is paid when colouring or performing any chemical service, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WEAR OLD CLOTHES TO YOUR COLOUR/CHEMICAL HAIR SERVICE. ANNA MARIE'S WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGED CLOTHING. Quasi-permanent or Semi-permanent – these colours will naturally fade out around 6 – 8 weeks. They are perfect for full head colour with minimal grey coverage and provide lots of shine. As your hair grows you will see roots. Permanent – often used for all over colour and where the client has grey or resistant hair. The colour will show some fade and you will have roots as your hair grows. Skin testing required. Regrowth – this service is offered where a full head permanent colour is growing out and is generally between 4 – 8 weeks depending on your colour, hair growth. Skin testing required. Full head Highlights or babylights – this service is designed to lighten your hair using a lightening system which may include bleach. Your hair will be “weaved” into small sections, depending on the desired look, and lightener will be applied to the hair. The hair that is not lightened can either be left in its natural colour or enhanced with a Quasi/Semi/Permanent colour. Because bleach is not applied directly onto the scalp you can expect a small amount of root visible with this service. Due to the nature of lightening systems the service will dry your hair and we may recommend a toner to provide extra condition / shine. Lowlights – a similar technique to highlights but using a combination of colours and tones rather than just lightener. Half head – another approach for maintain highlights covering the top half of the head.
All colours fade, this includes toners that are applied over lightened hair. All colours create roots as your hair grows. Colour maintenance will depend on the colour service and your style but on average are between 4 – 8 weeks. To get the best from your colour service it is essential that you use professional products, as recommended, as non professional products often contain detergents and silicones that can damage the colour molecule creating advanced fade.
Complaints and Refunds If you have a complaint about a service carried out by Anna Marie's, please contact me directly before leaving a negative review. I will do my absolute most to resolve any problems or complaints. My 48hr Colour & Cut Guarantee – If you are not entirely satisfied with your colour or cut within the first 2 days of appointment, please contact me for a free assessment. My 7 day Extensions Guarantee – If you lose 6 or more bonds/extensions within 7 days of application (any extensions service), please contact me to arrange a free assessment and adjustment.
If you have a complaint outside of the guarantee period, please do still contact me and I will happily discuss options with you. If you have a complaint about a product you have purchased, or something else, please do contact me and I will do the best I can to resolve the issue. All complaints will be handled as fairly as possible, however I do reserve the right to refuse a refund where the service has been carried out with reasonable care and skill. Changing your mind or not liking the result you requested will not result in a refund.
Photographs I may sometimes take photographs before, during or after any treatment. I will always ask your permission before taking any photographs and you are not obligated to allow it. In most cases I will also show you, the client, before using the images publicly, however in some rare cases this may not be possible and the image may still be used. Clients will never be fully named without written consent. Possible uses for the images taken may include, but are not limited to: • Social media or blog posts. • Gallery of work on my website, social media, online directory, or other such as my portfolio • Use in advertisements for the purpose of selling or promoting my treatments and services i.e. Facebook or other social media adverts or sponsored posts, google adverts, leaflets, price lists, posters etc • Training purposes • Competition entries If you wish for any recognisable image or use of your name to be removed from public use please contact me.
Personal Data Some personal information is required by me, ‘Anna Marie's’, to fulfil your booking. I will not ask for any personal information which is not required to carry out the service you are paying for, and in-line with my policies. We may collect data about you through a variety of different methods including: Technical Data from the following parties: Fresha. Survey Monkey. Google Forms etc Any information held or processed by ‘Anna Marie's’ is done so securely and in accordance with GPDR. Your personal data is NEVER shared or sold. It is kept in a secure place that is also locked. Anna is the key holder. If you wish for any or all of your personal data to be deleted, please contact me with your request in writing.
Bridal Terms & Conditions Please ensure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions below. This document forms part of the agreement for wedding hair between you and Anna. You are required to email Anna at [email protected]with date for your booking, confirming your agreement to the terms and conditions. By sending an email with your full name and address, you are signing your consent for the following....
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE: The Booking No agreement for the wedding day hair style shall be entered into unless all of the following requirements have been satisfied:
You have emailed [email protected] with your wedding date along with your full name and address to confirm you have read and agree with all the T&C’s on this document.
A £30 non-refundable* booking fee for bride only bookings OR £70 for bridal party bookings (2+ people), has been received in the form of cash or bank transfer.
All invoices are subject to change if additional services are required or adapted.
All quotes are valid for 12 months.
All booking fees are payable at the time of booking to secure your chosen date.
Payments As mentioned, a £30 OR £70 non-refundable* booking fee is payable when you book. This will be deducted from your total balance. The remaining balance, in full, is payable before your wedding day as agreed.
The Trial A mutually convenient time for the trial will be arranged between the parties. It may occasionally be necessary to change the date of a trial that has already been agreed and every attempt will be made to accommodate another date that is convenient. Once you are happy with the chosen wedding hair style Anna will ensure that a detailed record of all products used in the trial are recorded for her own personal use. It may be occasionally necessary for Anna to deviate from the precise design as was agreed at the trial.
Application of hair products It is your responsibility to notify Anna of any health complaint, skin complaint or sensitivity to any part of your face or body or hair that you are aware of at any time that the application of any products is due to commence. It is also your responsibility to ensure that any member of your party requiring hair services by Anna have notification of the same. Anna reserves the right to refuse to apply any products to any person whom she suspects of suffering from a health or skin complaint or sensitivity. It is your responsibility to notify Anna of any known allergies or sensitivities to any cosmetic or brand. This includes all members of your party.
Cancellations by You You reserve the right to cancel your wedding day hair at any point prior to your wedding day. Please note that the following charges will apply: · Your booking fee is non-refundable - unless Anna has to cancel. · 7+ days before your wedding – Half of the agreed total balance is due immediately. · 0-6 days before your wedding – Total balance is due immediately. Cancellations by Anna Marie's In the unlikely event that Anna is unable to attend your booking due to sickness, injury, personal emergency or any other circumstance beyond her control, she will endeavour to find a replacement hairstylist of a similar standard. This cannot, however, be guaranteed. If Anna is unable to find a replacement hairstylist, you will receive a full refund of your deposit/booking fee plus any monies already paid towards your wedding day.
Timings Anna will agree with you a time to arrive and a time to leave on the wedding day. Inevitably proceedings often run late and an allowance will be built into the agreed timings. Should Anna be required to run over those timings due to lateness on the part of any of the bridal party or any other factor not of Anna’s making, then a payment of £20 per half hour will be payable.
Mileage Mileage is charged at 50p per mile each way and applies to the trial and the wedding day
Photography At the trial Anna will take pictures of the finished hairstyle. Anna will also take pictures on the wedding day of the hairstyle. These pictures may or may not be used on Anna’s website https://annamarieshair.weebly.com/ , Facebook, Instagram or any other advertising which Anna undertakes. By signing these terms and conditions you are confirming that you have no objection to your photos being used in this way. If you object to your pictures being used, please inform Anna accordingly.
Limitation of Liability Anna Marie’s is not an insurer or a guarantor and disclaims all liability in such capacity. If you are seeking a guarantee against cancellation, loss or damage you should obtain appropriate insurance from a reputable Insurance Broker. All services are conducted on the basis of the information, documents and/or photographs provided by you. Services are for the benefit of you and anyone who you choose to provide services for under this contract. Anna is not liable to you or any third party for any actions or omissions outside the remit of the service supplied. Nor is she liable for any problems arising as a result of unclear, erroneous, incomplete, misleading or false information supplied. Anna is not liable for any delayed, partial or total non-performance of the services arising directly or indirectly from any event outside her control including your failure to comply with any of your obligations. Anna’s liability in respect of any claim for loss, damage or expense of any nature, shall in no circumstances exceed the costs of services she has been contracted to provide. If any one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Service are found to be illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired by this.
Hair Extensions Terms & Conditions Please be aware that I offer a thorough consultation to try to make sure hair extensions are for you. I NEVER refund any hair extensions that have been fitted, However, I will always aim to rectify any problems you may occur after your fitting. No one can guarantee how long your hair will last, as it is very much down to the individual client, however good aftercare and maintenance will allow you to enjoy your extensions for longer.
I will NOT fit Extensions to persons under the age of 16yrs. If the client is under 18yrs, I will require written Parental Consent.
Goods are sold on the understanding that they will be used only for their intended purpose. All offers are subject to stock availability and Heavenly Hair Extensions/Anna Marie's reserves the right to restrict or refuse any order at any time. Orders are delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded but cannot be guaranteed. Please bear in-mind, if your fitting date is very close to your hair order date, I have no control over the post & delivery! I take special care to show correct sizes and specifications and such descriptions, whist given as a guide and in good faith, are subject to alteration by me without notice. Appointments are allocated on a 'first-come-first-served' basis. I do not guarantee the availability of any item.
Faulty: If hair extensions appear faulty due to quality issues, the fault must be seen/inspected by myself WITHIN 7 days of the fitting date, - due to human hair being a consumable item during wear: I will NOT refund or replace goods that have been fitted, unless deemed Faulty by the Manufacturer/Supplier. Evidence will need to be posted to them. After the 7 day period, you will be charged regular Maintenance Prices for any adjustments.
Heavenly Hair Extensions/Anna Marie's do not hold/take any responsibility to Hair or Extensions that have been removed/adjusted by anyone else, and cannot be held responsible for the damage you or another person may cause trying to remove them.
Cancellations: You have the right to cancel your Fitting appointment at any time. Cancellations made within 3 days of booking/paying deposit (booking fee), will be refunded in full* *(Does NOT apply to Fast Track Orders where Personal Colour Match, Booking & Fitting dates are all within 7days)
However, if cancellation of Fitting is NOT within the 3 days of booking/paying deposit (booking fee), it may result in you loosing your deposit/booking fee as your bespoke personal hair match has already been ordered. Your hair order is bespoke personal to you and is made up to perfectly match your hair and therefore near impossible to use for another client within a suitable time frame. Suppliers only refund bespoke personal orders if believed to be faulty and evidence will be required to be sent off for inspection. (You can of course have your hair, without it being fitted - Please ask)
Disclaimer: Due to the lack of control I have over your quality of homecare provided, my manufacturers and Heavenly Hair Extensions/Anna Marie's cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury caused to third parties. The customer must determine if the glue, glue gun or any other products are suitable for their particular requirements, and that all products are to be used for professional use only.
Heavenly Hair/Anna Marie's do not accept any responsibility for hair that has been coloured or altered in any way after purchase, and if you have any other issues, they are to be seen by me within the 7 days of fitting date, due to extensions being a consumable (wearable) item. After the 7 day period you will be charged regular Maintenance prices for any adjustments etcthat you wish, and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. ***IMPORTANT*** In rare cases, 1 in 50,000 clients have experienced a small amount of hair loss because their hair roots were too weak to support the bond and the added weight of the extension, or if the bonds will not hold well to your hair, it may be unsuitable for extensions..... Unfortunately this can not be determined until you wear your extensions and must be taken into consideration before purchasing as NO REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS GIVEN. I aim to maintain the highest possible standards at all times.
